Nov. 22 SPECIAL Social Night

The Atheist and Freethought Club is hosting a social night with a very special guest.

Saturday, Nov. 22

Our Special guest is The Great Matt Dillahunty, President of the Atheist Community of Austin, host of the Atheist Experience TV show, one of the Non-Prophets, writer on the Atheist Experience blog and an all-around kick-ass atheist role model.

Nov. 11-12 Awareness Event

We will be having an awareness event on Tuesday, Nov 11 through Wednesday, Nov 12 from 11-2 both days.

There will be two parts simultaneously: a "hard" proselytizing event in Borchuck Plaza where pamphlets with dirty/scary/contradicting Bible verses are handed out and a "soft" event in the Atrium where there will be an information booth with our chosen charity project displayed.

So far, posible charity projects include a food drive or clothing/coat drive. If you have any ideas please email me, comment here, or write on the community blog.

Nov. 7 Social Night

The Atheist and Freethought club will be having a Social Night on Friday Nov. 7 at 6:00 PM.

The Agenda will include discussing t-shirts, the upcoming movie night, halloween plans, more events, and having some fun.

Oct 2 Social Night CHANGE

The Social Night is moved up to 5:00 PM at Freiberg's German Restaurant.

The change is due to the sex education program "I Love Female Orgasm" being held at ETSU at 7:00 PM.

Oct. 8 Information Booth

We will have an information booth in the Culp Center Atrium on Wednesday, Oct 8 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We will be handing out pamphlets about our group, atheism, and free inquiry. We will also have some type of candy.

We need people to sign up to run the booth for whatever hours you are available. If you cannot help run the booth, you can still help by making a big poster for us to put on the front of the booth or by buying candy (please get these to us by at least 2 days before).
