Darwin Day
The 200th anniversary of Darwins' birth is Thursday, February 12.
There is some interest in having a booth in the atrium, giving out pamphlets on evolution and giving away cake from about 10-3.

Winter cruise
Hey everyone!
Winter cruise is when all the student organizations of ETSU have a booth in the Culp Center to advertise themselves.
It is on Wednesday, February 4 from 10-4.
We need people to work the booth, handing out candy and pamphlets and talking to theists. If you cannot attend, but you can help make posters this weekend or can donate some money to offset poster and candy costs, contact me aat etsuatheists@gmail.com.

Nov. 22 SPECIAL Social Night
The Atheist and Freethought Club is hosting a social night with a very special guest.
Our Special guest is The Great Matt Dillahunty, President of the Atheist Community of Austin, host of the Atheist Experience TV show, one of the Non-Prophets, writer on the Atheist Experience blog and an all-around kick-ass atheist role model.

Nov. 11-12 Awareness Event
We will be having an awareness event on Tuesday, Nov 11 through Wednesday, Nov 12 from 11-2 both days.
There will be two parts simultaneously: a "hard" proselytizing event in Borchuck Plaza where pamphlets with dirty/scary/contradicting Bible verses are handed out and a "soft" event in the Atrium where there will be an information booth with our chosen charity project displayed.
So far, posible charity projects include a food drive or clothing/coat drive. If you have any ideas please email me, comment here, or write on the community blog.
